With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Macy Wilson Neudorff on July 25, 2021, a loving and devoted wife, mother, and daughter.
Macy was born in Tampa, Florida on April 4, 1986 to Lynn and Steve Wilson. As a child, her love of family was strong, always wanting to play with her baby dolls and sisters, Carly and Logan. This led her to pursue teaching as a career. She met her husband and soulmate Erik at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). The two were married in 2012 and in 2015 they welcomed their son Jett into the world. Macy balanced her life between family and work, teaching second and third grade at Virginia Shuman Young Elementary School.
Macy’s firm belief in God and unwavering faith carried her through her five-year battle with brain cancer. She stands in our hearts as a reminder of compassion, strength, and kindness. She was a fiercely dedicated mom and drew her courage from Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her loving husband Erik, son Jett, mother and father Lynn and Steve Wilson, sisters Carly and Logan, in-laws Jean and John Neudorff, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. All of these she loved deeply.
Please join us for a service to honor Macy, Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. on August 2, 2021 at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. 5555 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33308.
Flowers can be sent to the Welcome Center at the Church.
No need for black attire.
