James Donald DeMars

Jim DeMars of Ft. Lauderdale passed away on June 7, 2022 at the age of 89. He was born in Aurora, Illinois on March 24, 1933 to Donald and Elizabeth DeMars and was the oldest of their 3 sons.

Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a well respected furniture rep for 57 years. He met Charlotte, the love of his love, while they were in college. They married in 1955 and had 4 children.

Jim is survived by his wife, Charlotte DeMars, his daughters, Cathleen Kessler, Mary Beth Carley (Brian), Denise Taylor (Tim), and his son Mark DeMars, as well as his 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Jim devoted his life to his wife, family and his faith and was loved by all. He will be missed.
