Carol Munroe White of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, was 88 years old when she entered into the presence of her Lord on February 18, 2021.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Prestriedge (Mark), grandchildren
Erin Marie Prestriedge and Mark Brian
Prestriedge (Nicki), great-grandchild Zaiden Prestriedge, and sister Ora Ray
(Charles).
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband David of 47 years,
mother Grace Munroe, father Arthur Reuben Munroe, and brothers Forrest Munroe and Neil Reuben Munroe.
She grew up and was married in the First Baptist Church of Ft. Lauderdale
and later in life she attended the First Presbyterian Church of Ft. Lauderdale.
Carol was a Graduate of Ft. Lauderdale
High School class of 1950 and worked for Bell South/AT&T for over 30 years.
She will best be remembered by her love for God and her love for people.
The legacy she leaves behind can
simply be summed up in her favorite
phrase, "Only one life twill soon be past, only what’s done for Christ, will last.”
