Mary Yaeger, 90 of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away peacefully on March 20th 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 24th at Grace Wesleyan Church (in the Sanctuary of Shephard of the Coast Lutheran Church in Fort Lauderdale) with the Rev. Myron Rhodes, Jr. officiating.

Mary was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Joseph and Mary Heim on November 5th, 1933. She married Jim on June 26th, 1953 in Minneapolis. Mary’s love of family and children showed throughout her life. She raised 4 children, taught Sunday School, Bible School, was a classroom mother, scout troop leader, and opened her own daycare center in her home. Her love was felt by many throughout her 90 years.

Mary is survived by Jim, her husband of 70 years, her 4 children, Cheryl, Linda Hall (Ken), Anne Kuzma, Michael (Lisa), 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers and sister.
